I am struggling to find a way to get a transmission replaced in my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee that has 52,000 miles and is in great condition in every other way as far as I know. I am near Center Harbor but am told that the good person who was near this area is now gone? Anyone know a good place who does good work?

I was given a name over in Rochester....Robert's Transmission and plan to call I guess. I don't even know if the car would be able to make a drive like that? How would one arrange to have a 4 wheel drive towed if it does not seem able to be driven? (Wouldn't it need to be flatbedded?) Would it be costly? Help!!!

Does anyone know a good transmission place that is nearer?
