In Alton, right down the road from you on Route 11, is The William Tell Inn. They are right now just starting their Oktoberfest menu. The food is to die for, excellent.
Buy the best steak tips and marinated chicken at the Wine'ing Butcher, which is close to you in little mall where Patrick's Pub is located. Patrick's also has good food-pub style
