Perhaps one of the very intelligent/knowledgeable people who inhabit/haunt this forum can tell me why we need to include the name of the town, when addressing envelopes, when the zip-code does the job.
Why do we have to spell out M O U L T O N B O R O U G H when 03254 clearly denotes the intended location? In fact, if one uses the zip-code-plus four, why do we need to include a street address.
Strikes me that a NAME and a zip+4 should get a piece of mail delivered to its intended destination. Otherwise, WHY use these NUMBERS at all???
