I lived in Honolulu from 1987-1990, and I visited the Memorial. Got into Hawaiian history big time. I want to recommend a Pearl Harbor book by Gordon Prange -- "At Dawn We Slept" -- a minute by minute account of the lead-up to the attack and the attack itself. Fascinating stuff!
