It's Funny. The reason for dropping the 12s from Americas Cup racing was it was getting ...Too Expensive................

I have lived near Newport (RI) since 1966. I have seen it all....Close Up. We still have the 12s..but now they are "Ride Boats". $125 gets you a "working" ride for two hours. It's still good to have them around though .
