For the last two years three or four times a season as I sit in my tree stand some big bird would fly right by me but never made any noise. I just heard the sound of the wind through it's feathers. I never saw the bird. Until this year. One landed on a branch 6 feet away from me. It was an owl. It was HUGE. I watched him for about 1 minute before he moved onto another branch, then another. Very cool.
