Yes sir...that's the place...sophmore year (1986) we rented a house 2 blocks from Jack's. Went there two or three weeknights every week, and every single Saturday, during the winter. Wake up at noon, crawl out of bed, and go to Jack's Hot Dogs for hangover medicine. The pictures in the link are what that place has been like forever. Always had to wait in line (only 10 seats, grease literally running down the walls), but everyone ate quickly to move the line along....even if there was 20/25 ahead of you, it went quick...The prices are still dirt cheap...but double what we paid in the 80's. Back then, dogs .45, cheese burgers .65, fries .50. You'd fill up for 3 bucks...which is usually about all I had.
North Adams in the winter time...what a treat?!
