ROYAL WEDDING VIEWING PARTY TO BE HELD AMONGST LAST
U.S. EXHIBIT OF 14 OF PRINCESS DIANA’S GOWNS
Flying Monkey Movie House and Performance Center to Broadcast Wedding on the Big Screen
PLYMOUTH, NH - As the world wakes early to witness the nuptials of Prince William and Kate Middleton, more than 400 virtual guests will be watching a broadcast of the ceremony amidst 14 of Princess Diana’s royal gowns and items paying tribute to her memory.
The Flying Monkey Movie House and Performance Center in Plymouth, N.H. will open its doors at 4:30 a.m. on Friday, April 29 for a Royal Wedding Viewing Party surrounded by “Diana: The People’s Princess,” a special exhibit featuring the world’s largest private collection of dresses worn by the late mother of the groom. The New Hampshire exhibit is the last U.S. public viewing of the gowns, which will be sold at auction in Canada this summer.
“The Royal Wedding has captured the hearts of an international audience,” said Maureen Dunkel, owner of the collection of royal gowns. “To witness that special day for Princess Diana’s first-born son, among her beautiful gowns and stories paying tribute to her, is going to be a touching experience those in attendance won’t soon forget.”
Guests attending the international wedding event at The Flying Monkey will watch the ceremony on a large movie screen, and are invited to wear their best formal wedding attire, including the traditional large and stylish hats donned by women. Guests can vote on the best wedding hats and will dine on a breakfast including assorted pastries, coffee and tea.
