Are your taxes done????

Here's a panorama from the curve on rte 11 between Sandy point and Keewaydin park. Note the ice in the upper right. Looks very soft but covers a couple of hundred square yards. Then it's open water to very near Peggy's Cove, from the looks of it. Ice is marching out the bay faster than I expected. Also , looks like there is some open water below the scenic view near Mt Major, but I only saw that from Lakewood Drive (above Sandy Point).

If anyone has any pictures of Alton bay ice, please feel free to post. It will certainly help our friends keep an eye on it. Hopefully, ice will be out when I get back next week.
