I ordered the baby shrimp plate to go which came to just about $15.00 with the tax, but you have to realize that shrimp plate could easily feed 3 people. I was so astonished that I actually counted them. 49 shrimp! plus enough cole slaw to fill a cereal bowl and enough fries to feed 3. I had two meals on that one plate + had some fries and cole slaw left for a 3rd. If you split a $15 plate between 2 people I don't think that's too much $. Knowing what I do, if you had ordered 1 clam plate, you and the missus would have had more than enough to eat and probably taken some home. Try it the next time you're in Alton. The biggest mistake newbies make is ordering too much.
