Yes, indeed...those bungy cords could catapult me right into the kayak!!
The new dock is quite a bit higher than the old one, and the new dock is so pristine and aesthetically pleasing I am hesitant to detract from it by adding steps. I have googled kayak docks and also called Tom from Wild Meadow this afternoon, and he is researching them. Perhaps I should get into the kayak docks business....hmmmmmmmm. Appreciate your suggestion and definitely giving it some consideration .....as safety is my #1 concern (aesthetics aside).
