As an islander I have to warn anyone who will listen, don't ever buy a electric toilet, aka incinolet. That thing was a nightmare. I am hoping your upgrade from compost would never involve the huge step back to burning your poop.
It's even worse than it sounds.
I always thought it was OK to let lead acid batteries freeze if they remain charged? My car thinks so.
