Braun Bay and/or the West Alton sandbars are probably the two of the easiest places to anchor.

Of all the things I see from rental boats, it's very common for them to only have one anchor. On a busy day at the sand bars you need one for both ends of the boat to keep it from swinging.

Also, do not just follow the guy in front of you around markers. He/she could be clueless or have detailed local knowledge of the area (you won't know). Sometimes being on the wrong side of a marker will be costly.
