Default Spill into Bay

After an early morning jet ski ride, I went to the DD in Meredith and saw the water pouring out of the pavement. I guessed it was a water main break. At that time, police had the area blocked off but work had not started. I'd say many gallons per minutes were comming up through the pavement at that time.

In the afternoon around 2pm, when I went by again there was a large hole dug and two trucks were pumpling out the hole. On the way back I went around the back of town to avoid traffic and also noticed them pumping out the sewer at the train station. I'll assume that was to keep things from going down stream.

As always in NH, any tourism issue seems to get down played to not scare anyone away. It will be interesting to see how the testing comes out this week and see if there really is an issue.

Needless to say, the beaches at Grouse Point were fairly empty and the pool was full.
