Default Tuckerman's Ravine

If you google Tuckerman's Ravine, you can find the US Forest Service snow & ski conditions for the ravine, plus the Appalachian Mt Club's info from Pinkham Notch, plus a local Mount Washingon Valley skier's forum on rsn.com, if it still exists. Usually, Tucks is skiable thru May, and the snow at the bottom of the ravine lasts thru aprox July 4 before it all disappears. The ice on the bottom of Mahoosic Notch, on the Appalachian Trail, on the Me-NH border a little north of Gorham actually lasts through the summer and fall, so it is unofficially a glacier or someting. A good place to go chill out on a hot & humid August day. What do I know?
