Red face Loss of a Beloved Pet

BernerGuy, I literally feel your pain. You will have lots of ups and downs this season and will occasionally get blindsided with overwhelming emotions. I recently had a meltdown myself when I did a thorough vacuuming at the camp, which resulted in a big blonde hair ball in the bin.

Try to remember the good times. Reminisce and laugh over Belle's antics. Unfortunately, our beloved pets do not have the longevity that we wish for. Just like our human loved ones, we must treasure each and every minute we do get.

In time I hope you will bring another canine friend into your family. While this new addition will never, ever take the place of Belle, this addition will help lighten your heart and give you new focus, which will greatly ease your pain.

Each day I give thanks to Paul, and my friend WinnDixie for insisting that I overlap dogs. Bailey enriched Mac's final year and a half and she has been instrumental in my healing. Consider overlapping in the future. I highly reccommend it.

Thinking of you and your family, sending comforting thoughts. You are not alone in your grief.

Sincerely,

Celia
