I know of two folks that presented great proposals to buy the Gunstock Inn when it was for sale a couple of years ago for $900,000. The bank turned down both proposals. The bank insist that there will be enough liquid assets to cover the mortgage! Today the bank is stuck with a foreclosure of property that requires a lot of fixing up. This is typical of a lot of business properties, the bank can't see the forest from the trees.
