Same here, just talked to our son.

This is the first time in several years that our son or son-in-law have not been in Iraq or Afghanistan on Nov 11.

Our son-in-law, a US Marine, with 5 combat deployments, serves on a flight crew flying V-22 Osprey's, currently in Japan and on cycle to deploy to Afghanistan in mid 2013.

Our son, 2 combat deployments, is a Naval Academy, Annapolis graduate and a Captain US Marines, recently home for Afghanistan, now serving stateside.
