Yes you are entitled to your opinion however complaining about it on this or any other forum does nothing to fix the problems you so despise. Complaining from behind a keyboard is easy, changing things takes effort. If you want to make a difference here are a couple of opportunities/suggestions for you.
If you do not like McMansions then get involved with your town and try to pass legislation to limit the size of waterfront homes.
If you are concerned with green lawns I suggest you contact the DES and work with them to pass legislation to limit fertilizer around lakes and ponds.
