I remember, back around 1970's, coming up on a bear under an apple tree on the edge of the woods on Watson's Hill in Freedom, while huntingb deer. He left in a hurry, but the ground unmder the apple tree was covered with hisdung and puke. Probably this bear's great grandfather.
