Agreed Upthesaukee, its pure coincidence that the 2 recent boat fires were high performance boats. This could have happened to any one of us in any kind of powerboat. Just because 2 high performance boats caught fire does not mean they pose any more risk than other power boats.

There was an accident/injury that occurred over the weekend when a man was thrown from a small open aluminum boat & when the operator returned to help the man overboard he was injured by the propeller. So should we now be concerned about small open aluminum boats?

Where is the outrage from all the high performance boat haters? Its now clear that these small aluminum boats are a hazard. Where's the outrage?

P.S. I forgot about the sailboat that tipped over & dumped someone last weekend. Where is the outrage? Sailboats also are dangerous & pose many hazards. Where's the outrage high performance boat haters?
