Other than the cabin cruisers, you don't find fire suppression systems in non-high performance boats. How can I NOT conclude there is more fire risk in those boats? It also doesn't seem to me that the fire suppression systems performed as expected in either recent fire. Talk to us about that aspect of the recent events and inform us with facts and useful insight, not sarcastic tirades. Then the forum will serve its intended purpose.

You absolutely find fire suppression systems on other boats. INCLUDING bowriders and runabouts! Check out some of the websites. On some it is an option and some boaters can barely afford the basic model and don't choose to have it! I for one have a suppression system and I just down graded from a Cabin Cruiser to a Bow Rider.
NEITHER of those were your so dreaded Go Fast Boats.
Honestly, if everyone stopped worrying about speed and what others can afford that they can't....... we would have a more cohesive Lake society again.
Do yourselves a favor and take some notes for the rest of this summer. Who are the violators...what type of boat... is it rented... I think that you will see that MOST violators of the top 5 issue's it is the inexperienced (or ignorant) smaller FAMILY boats!
I know that I have been looking and taking notes. I wanted to make sure that I WASN'T being biased or DISCRIMINATING.
