Do you seriously think the landlord is paying the taxes, it is passed on in the rent along with all the other things we pay as homeowners.
On average it cost the same or
less to own as it does rent. Most of those renting either have poor credit for whatever reason, do not have jobs that meet qualifications or just choose to pay rent and not be bothered with what goes along with home ownership.
I'll tell you, it was a lot easier renting then it is owning.
My oldest son pays less to own his home then my youngest does to rent, in the same town.
