Are you saying you would never break the rules to protect a child? How about speeding through a no wake zone to get a dying child medical attention? I did say I was talking about extreme circumstances. There are situations where common sense and good judgment are more important than the letter of the law.

I have not used a dive flag in many years, as I said they are counterproductive. But when I did, the flag was only in the water when people were swimming.

As I said in an earlier post, an inflatable boat and a mooring work better.
