Default Craigslist and EBay

They are two good alternative in a private sale. I sold my last boat through Craigslist to a gentleman on the Cape and bought my current boat from a bank in Maryland on EBay. The boat I sold I got book value and the gentleman drove up and trailer it back. The Maryland boat, I drove down and trailer it back. I was very happy with the boat.

Both listings has a must greater market to buy/sell than if you broker/consgnment at a local marina.

Ebay has a limited Buyer's Protection Program that gives my mind a little peace. Make sure the boat is surveyed by an independent service.
