If you only have half a windshield you could have issues donating the boat..... Although the donations centers will accept boats, often they do require that it be in good enough shape to be sold. The bottom line is they don't want to have to scrap the boat if they can't sell it....

If you really don't know the condition of the boat, handing it off to a Salvage Yard is probably your best bet if you don't want to deal with all kinds of hassles.
