If you read the first post, there was nothing said about a moral objection to fishing. The "gentleman" said that he didn't want to look at a boat in front of his property.
This was harassment of somebody that was going about a legal and proper pursuit, pure and simple. And, since there were kids in the boat that was being harrassed

, this person's actions were totally inexcusable, and would have been even if there was some moral objection to fishing involved.
So far as I'm concerned, one doesn't deliberately endanger a child's safety, ever - even slightly (if this jerk was actually going slowly, which wasn't stated)!
Sorry, but on this one we'll have to part company!
