I pretty much stay off the lake on weekends and holidays. The lake is pretty civil during the week and off season. I witness some crazy things off Saunders Bay during the holiday. I'm surprise there were no serious accident that I know of.

Ever since a certain group of folks told the legislature that the lake is now safe and peachy after a certain law was pass, the legislature believe the marine patrol is no longer needed. The money from our registration was transferred to the general funds and the results is what you see July 4th. I hope the legislature is paying attention to winnipesaukee.com and realize the big mistakes they have made.

We are the ones who uses the lake, legislatures shouldn't tell users what is good for the lake.
