Good point. A close friend owns a popular restaurant in downtown Dover and is experiencing the same thing. It is very hard and quite costly to keep a restaurant at a temp that one would call cool on a 98 degree day. He talks often with the other major players in the restaurant industry in dover and they all go through the same thing, and have closed on what would normally be busy nights because of this.
As far as the Lyons Den is concerned I can't comment as I have only been once and it was so long ago I can't recall if it was the Lyons Den or the restaurant before it. I have hit the bar once or twice and the beer was cold!
