That Saturday, I heard Phils' white Waco approach from the west, grabbed my camera, then noticed Phil was flying at a much higher altitude than usual. No photos taken that day...

It wasn't a problem only with biplanes: even the vaunted
P-51 Mustang of WWII had to zig-zag.
