That Garmin survey vessel made three alternating passes in about one hour. First, at 150' from our shoreline, then about 300', and another at about 450'. Must be truly interesting sightings
besides contours of the bottom.
Surely, there are larger
glacial erratic boulders than the two off the Broads-side of northern Rattlesnake Island--which are very close to the surface this time of year.

Agreed, but I'd especially like to interview Garmin's surveyors and review their printouts. Lake Winnipesaukee may be about to give up many of its long-lost secrets.
