I have owned a canon SX20IS and then bought a Canon SX50HS.
It is pretty amazing how the telephoto length of that Canon camera is for what is basically a point and shoot in auto mode. Of course there are many settings on the camera but this was done using a Custom setting to dim it down a bit or it would over expose with this much light coming in.

This is a great camera for wildlife as it is very quiet as well.
