I have a covered slip. The boats in the slips are usually the last to be winterized. This is usually around Thanksgiving. I have seen my boat in the water in December.

I remember about 10 years ago, boating on the lake on a Thanksgiving weekend. The weather was in the '70's. It was a great boat ride but kind of eerie to see no boats on the lake.
