Especially if your group was the original companies responding to the job, you declare "all out" and return. The next group comes on and responds to the same structure to mop up your mistake and look like the boobs that failed to put out hot spots.
At that point you tend to get some crap from the other 3 groups...soon enough somebody else screws up and you're off the hook. As long as nobody gets hurt on the rekindle it's something you can constructively criticize and later chuckle about.
