Lol upthesaukee you are probably right - I actually know the hospitality business pretty well and the people that I know who work in local restaurants are way more like your sister-in-law than I'm giving credit. They are good people with lots of integrity. Maybe I was just projecting how I'D feel if I had to work Christmas day! I agree, it's a great option for people who may not have family nearby, or kids at home to entertain, and their generosity and willingness to make the holiday lovely for others should not go unnoticed. I seem to remember, in years past, that the Common Man in Ashland did a free meal on Christmas day for anyone in the community who wanted a place to gather... Don't know if that's still the case.
