Hi all. As a recent Wolfeboro arrival I would say that one of the best ways to get to know the area and meet some people is to join some local groups and go to local events. Subscribe to the "Granite State News" and find out what's happening. Go downtown and strike up conversations. Hang out at any of the local eateries that let you hang out. (Nolans, Downtown Grille, Lydia's)
There is SO much to do here, you could be busy every night. If you are retired, you could be busy every DAY and night

So many great organizations with volunteers. (If you are into theatre, consider getting involved with the
Village Players. Fun group and instant social life.)
Winter is actually the best time to discover who lives here year-round. Other times of the year the population totally changes.
I have had a wonderful time discovering services in the area and find there is basically everything I need including very good medical and dental services. If you are looking for recommendations for any particular service, PM me and I'll give you names and numbers.
