I live in Alton Bay, and we have had moose in our yard, our neighbor's yard, on the D snowmobile trail between Alton Mt. Rd and Mt. Major, on rte 11 A on the way up the hill from rte 11, and almost hit 3 who were running together just east of the entrance to Gunstock.

Long and short of it, they are all over NH but you just have to be at the right place at the right time. Like so many other things in life, timing is everything.

Talk to locals in your area, and they may tell you where to go to have a higher likelihood to see one.
