For the Grand Finale of my FAA Check Ride with
Gene Bulicki (SP) ..he made me land at
(PVD) Providence..a Major "Controlled Airport" .
I did NOT get to land on the upwind runway where all the Airliners were landing INTO the wind. Runway 5/23 (Which I could Have). I got to land with a 15 knot crosswind on Runway 16/34. It was a Crab/Straighten Out touchdown. I did good.....Gene said..
"That was a good landing." I became a
"Certificated" Private Pilot.
