Many of the folks who responded nailed it right on the head. Whether getting some coaching from a friend or paying for lessons, it boils down to practice. The more practice, the more intuitive it gets. When it gets intuitive, you think less about making mistakes or what other people think, and certainly will have less anxiety. If you already have the basic concepts down, take the time to go out really early or late in the day when no one is a distraction to you, pick a town dock and practice several scenarios. It's a commitment that pays off later on. Good luck!
