Last year one of my slips didn't have my name or the boat's NH reg number on it. Nothing at all from the marina where I purchased the fuel.
So I wrote in my name, address and boat registration number on that one receipt. All of the others had at least my name on them from the marina (due to credit card processing).
NH rejected that one receipt I wrote on saying that it was not valid becase I modified it.
Since they don't return your receipts, you have nothing to go on to ask for a reconsideration. I suppose I could keep a copy of all the receipts that I submit, but haven't done that.
This year, I didn't write anything on any of my slips, but they all had my name from the credit card transactions. I didn't write any address on them, or mark them in any way.
They were all accepted.
