Actually, at first Home Depot respectfully declined to be helpful, as all Corian products are custom. My husband then called Winnisquam Wood Products, who have no concept of "customer service." So, my husband called and spoke to the Big Kahuna at HD, who came to our house last night, looked at the countertop, agreed it was defective, wrapped it up, and took it with him. He stated he hoped to have it remedied and back to us by end of week. This probably means that WWP will "even out" the 1/8 to 1/4 inch "dip" in the middle of the Corian somehow, rather than crafting a new one. We'll see. But, very thankful for the response from management at HD, and will tell them so via letter
