A friend bought a new 209 Rinker b/r with a 4.3. Had the boat one year and traded for a 209 with 5.7 liter. He wanted it for skiing and the 4.3 just didn't do it
. Deep water starts on a slalom was too hard for him. The 260 hp 5.7 liter would snap him right out of the water. Plus the larger engine won't have to work as hard and can be propped higher and run slower at the same speed
