From this week's Baysider
Quote:

ALTON — A project that has been on the books for many years is finally progressing, and according to Alton Town Administrator Russ Bailey, the project is moving forward on schedule.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation has been working on Route 28 for the past couple of weeks, and they just put down some new tar on part of the road late last week.
They are continuing to work improving the drainage along Route 28 and are also working on Hamwoods Road and Stockbridge Corner Road.
Bailey said that Stockbridge Corner Road is scheduled to be closed the week of June 23. He said that signs will be posted along Route 28 and along Route 11 indicating that that road will be closed.
Bailey said that work is moving forward on schedule, and people should expect delays in the coming weeks as the paving continues along the heavily traveled Route 28.
