Regarding the AARP: I was a member for years. Then it became apparent
(to me) that they had become blood-suckers, not the (self-professed) guardian
of us "croakers".
When I examined the ads in their many submissions, I felt they were pandering to us "croakers", letting rip-off companies try to suck old brains into new scams.
No doubt, THEY are making mucho money, but . . . that means they
don't need "dues" from us. When the past-president of the outfit makes more than a million bucks a year, (
