I love the canned Mandarin oranges.

This product has been around for a long time - with no issues.

On the flip side the food industry has fought labeling laws for decades.
One has no idea where the fresh vegetables come from unless labeled.
Yes, one should purchase local grown if possible.

China does have quality control issues. There is a reason why there are no Chinese automobiles sold in the USA.

Here in the USA there have been issues with USA meats and some vegetables.
One can get a tad paranoid.

I would say that the Mandarin oranges would be fine.
