There is no distinction about how the property is occupied. There is no "view tax". There is no tax based on the amount of lake frontage that you have. I have heard these statements from the uninformed for many years.
Your taxes are based on the value of your property. Yes, they add to the value for out buildings, docks, frontage etc., but so would any potential purchaser.
Your taxable valuation is based on the actual market value of the property if it were to be sold. There are no other specific taxes added because of anything else.
