I usually trap between 12 to 15 a year. Use 2 Have a Heart's. If they are alive, I transport them, otherwise just dispose of them.
I've been doing this for 8 plus years up at the lake. I don't spice the traps with anything as thay have developed a natural smell from the previous chipmunks. Location is important. If you can, place the trap close to a wall so it is easier to go through the trap than around.
