Amherst is beautiful, but the tax rate is very high. We had friends who finally sold their home there. Also a long trek down 101 to gt to the highway.
Not much around there for 200k range.
Maybe the other side of rt. 3. Perhaps Hudson, Salem. Easier commute. Depends where you work.
