To me, a great restaurant at the lake has to be appropriate for the occasion. Breakfast? A great restaurant is the Village Kitchen. Great food, great people, great prices, great atmosphere, equals great to me. It doesn't have to be a 5-star fancy schmancy place to be great. But if your looking for haute cuisine, try Boston, Tampa, San Francisco, or Paris. BTW, the place I am thinking of in Tampa is Bern's Steak House. Absolutely my favorite GREAT steak restaurant, and the selection of single malts are only outdone by the Hilton in Chicago.
