When I went to Brewster every Sunday morning, a bunch of us would walk down to White's Restaurant for breakfast. The diner later changed its name to Mast Landing, and then to Wolfeborough Diner.

It may have been Mrs. Edwards, who, after many years, I'd returned and told her "She hadn't changed in all those years—since Brewster".

Immediately, she turned away, with her eyes filled with tears!
